The One Mule came from an unexpected moment of clarity.
It was originally never part of the plan. The idea was to create one shoe, and that shoe was the Flow Trainer. But along the way, a simple, effortless form revealed itself: a slip-on with a collapsible heel that could move seamlessly between a shoe and a mule.
That ease became the essence of the design.
This was the one.
The collapsible back folds down for effortless wear, then flicks up to secure the foot when needed. It’s been worn hiking, climbing, training, traveling, and moving through cities across the world, adapting naturally to real life in all its forms.
Inspired by climbing footwear, the wide, supportive toe box allows the foot to spread naturally, enhancing balance and stability. A low-profile sole keeps you close to the ground, supporting natural movement and connection to the earth without unnecessary bulk.
Crafted from two-toned brushed suede and fully lined with soft leather, the interior feels like a refined loafer and a performance shoe, luxurious, breathable, and comfortable from the first step.
The silhouette remained consistent throughout development, refined through subtle adjustments in materials and detail, with the process treated much like a sculpture. It flowed naturally into existence, unforced, intentional, and timeless.

Sizing recommendation:
Our shoes fit wide to accommodate natural toe splay and to ensure they are ergonomically optimal. The shoes fit slightly large and our sizing may differ from your usual shoe size, so we recommend measuring your foot first to ensure you get the right fit.
We suggest sizing down for most people, particularly if you have narrow feet, but please measure your foot for best accuracy.
How to measure your foot:
- Stand on a piece of paper and trace the outline of your foot, keeping the pen straight up.
- Measure the length from the tip of your longest toe to the back of your heel and the widest part of your foot.
- Refer to the foot length and width guide below to find the closest fit for your size.
